Inviting Team Members

Lygotype lets you share individual forms with collaborators. Access is scoped per-form — there's no global team or organization model.

Inviting a collaborator

1. Open the form you want to share 2. Click Settings in the sidebar 3. Go to Collaborators 4. Enter the collaborator's email address 5. Select a role: Edit or View 6. Click Send Invite

Auto-account creation

If the invitee doesn't have a Lygotype account, one is automatically created for them with a generated password. They'll receive an email with their login credentials.

If the invitee already has an account, they'll receive a notification that the form has been shared with them.

Shared with me

Collaborators see forms shared with them in a Shared with me section on their dashboard — separate from their own forms.

Managing collaborators

In Settings → Collaborators, you can:

  • See all users with access to the form
  • Change a collaborator's role (Edit ↔ View)
  • Update a collaborator's email address
  • Revoke a collaborator's access (removes them from the form)

Revoking access

Click Remove next to a collaborator's name in the Collaborators list. They immediately lose access to the form and it disappears from their "Shared with me" dashboard.

Who can manage collaborators

Only the form owner can manage collaborators. Edit-role collaborators can build and respond but cannot invite or remove others.
